Matuwa means be glad, rejoice in Tagalog.

​When helping others, not only do you make them happy, you become happy too by seeing the smiles on their faces.

Having embarked on the previous project, we felt that we received more than what we gave to the villages. This second trip back feels almost like going back home again.

​GKK1World (Singapore) Ltd, representing Gawad Kalinga (GK) in Singapore, is an International Charity Organization, committed to poverty eradication the GK Way of building holistic and sustainable communities. GK also serves as a regional hub for partnership, innovation, education and research for GK.
VISION
To develop a world of poverty- free, sustainable communities where people live with dignity and in harmony.
MISSION
To contribute to the regional development of GK by sharing the work of GK with other Asian countries.
To optimize education, innovation, research, and partnerships for the continuing development of the Gawad Kalinga model.
